Shipping Information

International Shipping

International packages are sent with FedEx and are shipped within 3-5 business days after order confirmation.

Please refer to your FedEx tracking number for details about delays or updates. You can send me a message if you are not clear on how to use your tracking number and I am happy to assist. We are here to help.

Please communicate with FedEx or your postal carrier in your country or a representative agent in your area, as our French FedEx agency or post office will not have the ability to do so from France. If you have issues with FedEx delivery agents; they can't find you, or you are not at home, etc. please communicate with them. Normally, if they send a notice or message to you regarding your package or delivery status – they also provide a link or instructions for response, so be sure to check.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING / INSURANCE /FEES AND TARIFFS

Although we are experts at packing tricky and fragile items, handling accidents do occasionally occur in the hands of the shipping agent or delivery person. Certain items do not qualify for insurance, so please send me a note if you have questions. We do our best to assist with claims about damages that occur in the destination country. That said, often claims can be tricky, and although FedEx covers packages that are lost, they will not always cover damages that occur in transit.

Some countries/states/provinces will charge importation fees on goods coming into the country if the amount exceeds a certain level. This is at the jurisdiction of each state and country and is not a fee that we collect, charge or pay for you. It’s good to be familiar with how your home state and country handles purchases and taxes for items purchased from a foreign country or outside of your tax residency. Please bear in mind that some states, regions or countries may charge import fees for packages valued at over $800, and we are happy to assist with large order questions.

As of April 2025, the U.S. government introduced new tariffs that may apply to international purchases—even those previously exempt, like antiques and collectibles. While the situation is evolving, here’s what you need to know.

Do the recent cancellations of shipments from France (La Poste) impact my purchases from Rabbit Hill?
