DHL Shipping

Once your package has been handed over to DHL and scanned, they normally send the confirmation and tracking number directly to the email address from your order or via SMS to the contact number provided.

Please refer to your DHL tracking number for details about delays or updates. You can send me a message if you are not clear on how to use your tracking number and I am happy to do it for you. We are here to help.

However, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you understand that we do not work for DHL or the postal service and once the package is in the hands of a local DHL or postal carrier in your country you should communicate directly with your DHL office or agent in your area, as our French DHL agency or post office will not have the ability to do so. If you have issues with DHL; they can't find you, or you are not at home, etc. please communicate with them. NOTE: In most cases, DHL will not leave a package without a signature and cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

Normally, if they send a notice or message to you regarding your package or delivery – they also provide a link or way to respond. If you send us an email in France, there is very little we can do from here and it is much faster and more efficient for you to work directly with them. We are here to help with any issue within the limits described above.


LA Poste - standard

Standard Shipping-to worldwide destinations via La Poste. Due to the increase in shipping costs, beyond our control, we now send SINGLE or SMALL items with shipping fees calculated at less than $25 – via Standard First Class Post (France La Poste to the local post service in your country.)

Although we rarely use Standard Post, single or small items are sent via Standard Post if you paid less than $25 for shipping ( ie. towels, copper polish, calendars, etc).

If your item is being sent with Regular Standard Post and NOT DHL, keep in mind that there is no tracking or insurance against loss or damage. Many of our packages sent with Standard Post to the US are taking on average 60 days to arrive.

INSURANCE:

Although we are experts at packing tricky and fragile items, handling accidents do occasionally occur in the hands of the shipping agent or delivery person. We just want you to be aware that damaged items cannot be replaced without this additional special handling insurance. Certain items do not qualify for insurance, so please send me a note if you have questions about adding insurance.

For some items, there is an option to add supplemental INSURANCE coverage for small or medium FRAGILE purchases we are happy to help. Just send me a message, and I will respond with a payment link if your purchase qualifies for insurance. If you have multiple large or fragile items, please contact us to estimate extra insurance based on the value of your items. That said, often claims can be tricky, and although DHL covers packages that are lost, they will not always cover damages that occur in transit.
