Stunning ‘fruits de mer’ platter made of antique ironstone porcelain. An ample 44 cm x 30 cm oval - it is both decorative for an ironstone porcelain display, or functional for a ‘clam bake’ or seafood feast.
Fruits de mer, translating to "fruits of the sea," is a classic French dish that showcases the bounty of the ocean. Typically served raw or lightly cooked, this seafood platter celebrates an array of delicacies that reflect the rich maritime culture of France's coastline.
