A pair of late Baroque brass candlesticks from the Louis XIII period, with engraved floral detailing and turned baluster stems. The stepped bases and hand-worked decoration reflect the ornamental character of mid-17th-century design.
One candlestick has been carefully and sympathetically repaired over time — a testament to its long life and continued use.

Solid brass.
