Antique French Stoneware Vinegar Pot — 5 Liter
Antique French Stoneware Vinegar Pot — 5 Liter
A rustic and simple old French vinegar pot, made to keep a generous supply of homemade vinegar at the ready. Antique, beautiful and still completely functional. My first vinegar pot was very much like this one and I soon became enamored with making apple cider vinegar and have since progressed to both red wine and Champagne vinegar in my kitchen, even producing small batches for our store in Cormeilles.
Fitted with a new cork and wooden spigot, so it is ready to go straight back to work — perhaps with your next batch in your kitchen!
5 liter capacity / Approx. 26 cm tall
Glazed French stoneware with original lid typical glaze color and style found from Normandy farms
New cork + wooden spigot included
Dating & attribution: Antique French stoneware, late 19th/early 20th century.
Why we love this…

As with all vintage and antique items, please look closely at the details in the images. We note breakage or chips if apparent, but the patina which is inherent of age, or wear from 50-100+ years of existence and use -- is assumed for older pieces and is not considered a flaw or defect.
