Antique French Confiture Jars (19th Century)
Antique French Confiture Jars (19th Century)
These substantial 19th-century glass confiture jars are true French kitchen treasures. Each one is crafted with thick, durable glass and finished with a rolled rim, making them as practical today as they were in the French countryside kitchens of the past. Sizes range from 375 ml to an exceptionally rare 850 ml jar, standing 8–16 cm tall.
Perfect for serving homemade jams, relishes, spreads, or pickles, these jars also lend themselves beautifully to holding utensils on the counter or at an outdoor picnic. Their heavy, timeless design makes them both functional and decorative.
Because of their age, these jars should be handled with care and handwashed only. They may also be used as rustic drinking glasses, though one should take note that chips can occur with hard use.
Sold individually.

As with all vintage and antique items, please look closely at the details in the images. We note breakage or chips if apparent, but the patina which is inherent of age, or wear from 50-100+ years of existence and use -- is assumed for older pieces and is not considered a flaw or defect.
