Large French ironstone porcelain tureen with pedestal base and fitted lid. Suitable for serving or display. Originally used for serving soup or side dishes at festive meals, it remains just as striking today — whether used for serving or displayed on a sideboard or buffet.
Diameter: 26 cm; height: 23 cm.
Material: ironstone porcelain.
There is a small chipped area on the interior of the cover that is non-visible when displayed or used, and the bowl itself is beautiful filled with fruit or produce arrangements.

As with all vintage and antique items, please look closely at the details in the images. We note breakage or chips if apparent, but the patina which is inherent of age, or wear from 50-100+ years of existence and use -- is assumed for older pieces and is not considered a flaw or defect.
