zoom meet up

An invitation for live Zoom get-togethers from my kitchen at Rabbit Hill to talk about the recipes, meet other participants and have an informal Q&A.

I love my copper collection, but I have never tried cooking with it.

I can see copper peeking through the bottom of my sauce pot - is it still safe to use?

I had no idea that I couldn’t make popcorn in it - is it ruined?!

How do I keep it looking bright and new between uses?

I found old cookware at a flea market - can I use it for cooking?
— common copper cookware questions we hear

RABBIT HILL COPPER - Est. 2016

In the many years that we have been sourcing and restoring antique and vintage copper for our online shop, we have learned even more than we could squeeze into a short workshop. Our goal is to provide as much practical information as we can so that more home cooks, no matter what their level of cooking, can benefit from precise and clear information and inspirational recipes. We know that adding copper to your kitchen and home is a major investment - and we want you not only to love having it — but also to adore cooking with it! If you know how to cook with traditional copper cookware, you benefit not only from an exceptional cooking experience, it will also last from generation to generation!

So let’s get started!

  • We cover everything from the history of copper cookware, a review of the major brands and artisan makers and how to get started purchasing and using it!

  • We will talk about types of cookware and match them up with delicious traditional recipes, each with start-to-finish techniques and tips!

  • Need advice about your cookware? We are here to help with questions about polishing, restoring, and making the most of your copper collection!

  • Not to mention — group chats, Q&As - LIVE Zoom meet-ups and contests and GIVEAWAYS!

The online workshop begins on JUNE 1st and registration concludes based on available spots.

(Access to e-course material is unlimited and can be viewed even after the workshop concludes — which is great for those with busy schedules!)

  • You will be invited to participate in several LIVE Zoom meet-ups throughout the course time.

When will the Zoom get-together take place?

  • This will be scheduled on a weekend morning/afternoon for North American time zones and equivalent times worldwide.

What if I’m not on Facebook?

  • Participation in the group page is not required but highly recommended, as this is where most of the content and material for the course is posted. This workshop is a great way to meet like-minded foodies and enjoy sharing ideas and inspiration.

  • Content can also be delivered via e-mail but in this case you will not be able to interact with other group members.

I’m not a very good cook, is this workshop for me?

  • We have all levels of skills in our workshops. Whether you are a novice or a pro, my goal is to make you feel comfortable and to encourage you to try new things - or to perfect your French food repertoire.

The goal of every workshop is to inspire and teach in a way that allows the particpant to then create their own personal experience. Need a great meal to serve to guests? … A dish to share on date-night? A new family favorite to add to your recipe box? Or do you just long to travel virtually to France and indulge in delicious food and culture?

I hope you will join me!
