A remarkable French copper confiture pan dating to around 1790–1800, with a beautifully hand-worked surface and substantial double brass handles. The early construction, generous proportions and stamped “GX” mark give this one especially wonderful character.

  • Heavy hand-hammered copper with riveted brass handles and rolled rim

  • 38 cm diameter × 12 cm tall; approximately 12-liter capacity

  • Excellent for preserving and large-batch cooking, or as an impressive centerpiece or kitchen display

Most of the cookware we sell dates to from the 18th to the 20th century and was created by copper artisans like Mauviel, Atelier du Cuivre, Gaillard - Paris and Bourgeat and made for culinary professionals through E. Dehillerin, Paris, Allez Freres, Grand Magasins du Louvre and A la Mangere.
