Exceptional late 19th century French serving bowl in solid copper with a sterling silver lining, combining the warmth of polished copper with the refined practicality of silver for table service.
Stamped Paris beneath a crown hallmark, this elegant piece was likely intended for formal dining or presentation service in an upscale household during the Belle Époque period.

The shallow, wide form lends itself beautifully to chilled desserts, fruit presentation, or refined table service, while the silver interior offered a more stable and luxurious surface for food contact than traditional tin lining. Pieces combining both copper and sterling silver were considerably more expensive to produce and are far less commonly found today.
