Sage Green Pottery Vinegar Crock
Vintage Digoin ceramic vinegar crock, fitted with a new cork and spout, rustic glazed stoneware with traditional details. The Digoin stoneware and pottery factory was originally a family-run craft business founded in 1875 on the banks of the Canal du Centre in Burgundy. Around 1900, the Digoin and Paray-le-Monial region, known as the "ceramic valley," was home to around forty factories, each with its own specific expertise (tile, brick, and tiling).
Since 1875, the Manufacture de Digoin – Grès & Poteries has been making everyday stoneware objects for the kitchen and garden. Traditionally made and hand finished.

As with all vintage and antique items, please look closely at the details in the images. We note breakage or chips if apparent, but the patina which is inherent of age, or wear from 50-100+ years of existence and use -- is assumed for older pieces and is not considered a flaw or defect.

This item is sent with International Express Shipping (FedEx or DHL) if postage paid exceeds $25 which is the minimum fee for express shipping. Tracking and shipping updates are available online through the destination country website.
Small items can be combined in one package and this sometimes provides a savings in shipping as long as they are calculated in the same order invoice.
