A substantial 19th-century French copper stock pot, dating to approximately the 1870s, with the beautiful proportions and weight of early French professional cookware. The tall, straight-sided body is fitted with heavy brass side handles, a fitted copper lid, and a substantial brass lid handle.
At 10 liters, this is a highly usable size — large enough for stocks, soups, braises, preserving, or cooking for a crowd without being unwieldy. The copper has been professionally restored and polished while retaining the subtle irregularities and character of its age.
