Set of Three Vintage Café au Lait Bowls
A charming set of three vintage café au lait bowls with classic fluted sides and simple colored stripes. Two have double red stripes and the third a single blue stripe, giving the set the collected, mismatched look we love for a French kitchen. Perfect for morning coffee, cereal, soup or dessert.
Dimensions: Each approximately 14.5 cm diameter × 7 cm tall
Material: Glazed ceramic
Dating & attribution: European, likely mid-20th century. The two red-striped bowls are marked “Made in Italy”; the blue-striped bowl bears an impressed clover-shaped mark that remains unidentified. Age is assessed through the form, construction, materials, workmanship, decorative style and natural signs of age and use.
The bowls are in excellent vintage condition. Two have minute areas of missing glaze along the rim. Hand washing is recommended.
