Pair of Vintage French APILCO Porcelain Terrines
A pair of classic white porcelain terrines by APILCO, made in France and traditionally used for baking and serving pâté. Their simple oven-to-table design makes them just as useful today for casseroles, potato or rice dishes, vegetables, gratins and other side dishes and sauces.
Dimensions: Large: 25 cm long × 10.25 cm high; Small: 16 cm long × 7 cm high
Material: White porcelaine à feu (ovenproof culinary porcelain)
Dating & attribution: APILCO, France, 20th century. Both pieces bear APILCO France marks; the smaller terrine also bears the impressed size number 3. Age is assessed through the form, construction, materials, workmanship, decorative style and natural signs of age and use.

As with all vintage and antique items, please look closely at the details in the images. We note breakage or chips if apparent, but the patina which is inherent of age, or wear from 50-100+ years of existence and use -- is assumed for older pieces and is not considered a flaw or defect.
