A stunning, simple yet elegant, vintage silver-plated wine cooler with the tall proportions traditionally used in France for the slender wine bottles of Alsace. Exceptionally heavy and well made, it has beautifully detailed scroll handles and a raised pedestal base. Perfect for chilling a favorite bottle of white wine or Champagne, and equally beautiful filled with flowers on the table.
Dimensions: 28 cm tall × 17 cm diameter
Material: Heavy silver plate
Dating & attribution: European, 20th century, with Louis XV/Rococo-inspired decorative elements. The underside bears a maker's stamp. Age is assessed through the form, construction, materials, workmanship, decorative style and natural signs of age and use.
